Many organizations contact Cumberland Perry AVTS annually to provide scholarships for graduating seniors. The names of the major scholarships and brief summaries are listed below.

Academic excellence, school and community service, financial need.

 

Two $1,000 scholarships

Kiwanis of Greater Harrisburg

Academic excellence, school and community service, financial need.  Interview is required.

Mechanicsburg North Rotary Club

Academic excellence, school and community service, financial need; must be nominated as Rotary Club Student of the Month to qualify.

Ernest McDowell Health Career Scholarships

Academic excellence, school and community service; must enroll in a health related post-secondary program.

$500-$1,000

Ken and Romaine Kauffman Scholarship Fund

First preference to students studying Automotive Technology; applicants must reside in Perry or Cumberland counties and be accepted to a 4 year college/university, technical school, or community college.

Grant available for tuition, books, and fees.  May not be used for room and board.

The Sales & Marketing Council of the Home Builders Association

 

Citizen of the US, completed application, recommendation, and 150 word essay.

Graduate of Big Spring, Camp Hill, Carlisle, Cumberland Valley, Greenwood, Mechanicsburg, Newport, South Middleton, Susquenita, or West Perry.  Academic achievement, leadership, test scores, and financial need.
