Computer Programming Instructor

Cumberland Perry AVTS seeks a permanent full-time Computer Programming Instructor to begin April, 2017. The instructor is responsible for development of a new Computer Programming curriculum. Once developed, the program will be implemented in the 2017-2018 school year, where the instructor will be responsible for the planning, preparation, assessment, and supervision of Level 1, 2, and 3 student activities. 

Two years of related work experience are required (five years preferred) in computer programming or a related field in addition to knowledge of computer hardware and maintenance. Previous teaching experience helpful, but not required.

Individuals without appropriate teaching certification through the PDE must be willing to complete coursework requirements to obtain vocational teacher certification.

Salary dependent upon experience. Full benefit package, including retirement and healthcare. Application deadline is Monday, February 6, 2017.  


Substitute Teacher 

CPAVTS is accepting applications for substitute career and technical teachers (particularly in the field of Cosmetology and the industrial and technical trades),  substitute social studies teachers,  substitute secretaries, substitute custodians, and adult education teachers. Substitute cosmetology teachers must have a State Board of Cosmetology Teacher's License.

Substitute Health Room Assistant 
CPAVTS is seeking a substitute Health Room Assistant to be called upon for emergency and pre-planned coverage of the Health Room.  Current L.P.N. or R.N. license required.  Salary is dependent upon experience.
