What is the Preschool Program?

The Early Childhood Education students run two preschool programs--the AM Best Friends program, and the Little Foot PM program. CPAVTS Early Childhood Education students are responsible, under supervision of their instructor, for all phases of the daily routine.

What Is the Preschool Like?

Our preschool follows the early childhood philosophy that children learn best through play and their own experiences. Developmentally appropriate activities are planned for our preschoolers throughout the day and are designed to promote growth in all areas of development: physical, emotional, social, and intellectual. The preschool is designed primarily as a laboratory experience for our high school students, but is fully suited to provide a safe environment for play and learning. Parents considering enrolling their child are also free to schedule a visit to observe the program!
